_warning psychological torture, sensitive past
He was in the same elementary class as Yuri, and involved in the events that happened 5 years prior. It's unclear what he thought of her back then, other than a weird, shy girl. During the time in the lab, he focused his energy on examining the situation and trying to get out, without endangering himself or the girl who he knew was already suffering. Because his memory was wiped as they were taken away from the lab, he only remembered "tori" then.
His real name is Toriyama Seiichi and as with Yuri, his original family and social circle all believe him to be missing indefinitely. He does not remember them either, cutting off this entire connection. He has also grown since childhood, making his appearance harder to recognize.

Technically childhood friend, but we never know if he thought of her like that as his memories of her back then are gone. He thinks she is intriguing with her powers, and is very mysterious as he always believed in logic and the laws of the universe.

He enjoys seeing Rune around for some reason, maybe because he's a proof of this out of universe experience. Maybe because he reminds him of himself unconsciously, someone trapped in themselves, and unable to find what they really want..

They share a ton of interests, and hang out together when Tori's not doing homework or at school. They play games and chat about code and nerdy things. He does get overwhelmed by Haru's collection of stuffies sometimes.
