Any anomaly of magical origin required detailed investigation. It was assigned a team of researches headed  by a main investigator. That was Valentine´s task. Approach, analyze, collect evidence, write a report and sent it to headquarters. However, what if the next abnormality that requieres investigation is yourself? It only remains to flee, since the anomalies are highly dangerous, rarely have a humanoid shape and requiere total annihilation.
