Oberos is the kind of man that you think you can understand at a glance. He's clean-cut, after all, tending towards blazers and button ups, and his elegance and poise coupled with that sophisticated and utterly blank expression make him seem like a pretty typical corporate robot. Maybe a relatively high-ranked corporate robot, since it's not hard to spot him cleaning up after himself as he goes, and to speculate that he's meticulous enough to be a CFO or something like that, but still. TOTALLY a robot. But then you start talking to him, and you're not more than a few sentences in when he cracks the most dry, witty, obviously suggestive joke, and you're utterly blindsided. As it turns out, Oberos' calm demeanor belies the fact that he's actually a really interesting guy. He may look like he remains calm and detached, but he's absolutely teasing you into laughing or sputtering fits on purpose, and the more time you spend around him the more you begin to notice the subtle shifts in his expression - a slight quirk of a smile when he's amused, a slight softening of the eyes as he catches sight of a friend, a slight exhalation of breath that is as close to a laugh as typical conversation can bring him. He also loves to dance, despite his relatively low stamina, loves to flirt, loves to read doomed romance into film narratives. Basically, if you were to make a metaphor out of him, he's a calm cool lake with a lot of colour and light and personality swirling just beneath the surface.

  Positive Character Traits

► Intelligent and eloquent. You'll be hard pressed to find a more deeply invested conversational partner, especially if you get him going on culinary delights, history, or jazz music.
► Absolutely FANTASTIC chef. He loves to look up new recipes and perfect old ones, and his go-to plan when engaging new acquaintances is to offer them a home-cooked meal.
► Patient, though nearly to a fault. If you need Oberos to wait for something, he will sit and wait until the sun goes supernova or hell itself freezes over.
► Intensely loyal and self-sacrificing where his friends or loved ones are concerned. There is pretty much NOTHING he won't do for the sake of someone who has earned his loyalty.
► Surprisingly funny and flirty. He can be a real charmer!

  Negative Character Traits

► Absolutely unsympathetic and merciless when it comes to people outside of his close-knit circle. He may treat you cordially, but if you're not yet someone of importance to him, you're essentially not even a person in his eyes.
► Has no ability to deal with his own anger. It takes a GREAT, GREAT DEAL to get Oberos mad, because he's almost psychotically patient, but it may be because of this that Oberos never really developed an ability to hold himself back when angered.
► EXTREMELY vengeful. Once someone hurts a loved one or crosses him, they're basically doomed to deal with his wrath at SOME point, because he never forgets a grudge and he never stops looking for opportunities to satisfy his need for revenge.
► Almost certainly a cannibal. Yeah that's probably a negative.
