About
Daisuke was trained at a young age to be a protector to the Kamishiro family, and as such, much of his life and personality is shaped around this singular goal. Devoted, studious, and serious, he acts much like an old man in a child's body when at work, ready to hone his skills and protect those under his charge. However, he is still just a child, whether or not he can suppress those emotions: he is easily hurt when slighted, known to bear grudges and forgive them just as quickly, and displays great excitement at new experiences. He is a humble boy, who is easily awed by gifts and kindness, and what few possessions he has he treasures dearly. Nothing, however, places more importantly on his list than keeping Kamishiro Mana safe from harm.

Daisuke, like his fellow Western clan Yatagarasu, practices a form of Jujutsu developed by them.
Related
sworn protectee
Daisuke's precious friend and the one he is sworn to protect. He treasures Mana dearly and will put himself on the line in order to ensure her safety. He is hurt when she goes off on her own and does not ask him along, but forgives quickly and resumes his duty without a qualm.
cousin
Daisuke's cousin, whom he looks up to and aspires to be like. Daisuke came to the Kamishiro shrine very young and has not seen Renge often as their duties keep them apart, but aspires to her level of skill and her cool demeanor when it comes to being a Yatagarasu warrior.
