Greetings everyone, my name is Sae. I'm 15 years old... Well... According to human years. I'm the youngest of four, the others being my three older brothers, Avery, Azrael, and Skylar. They told me to say a little bit about myself s-so... here goes. I love birds... especially Hooded Cranes, and one in particular who started following me around about a year ago. We spend most of our time at a secret place in the woods where I drink tea and read to him, his name is Absinthe. I tend to keep to myself and don't like meeting new people, or large crowds, or loud noises... There's a lot of things that scare me.....   *cough* I don't like to talk unless it's absolutely necessary since I don't really care to have a lot of attention put on me. I do love the library though... it's very calm and the librarian there lets me sneak Absinthe in when it's closer to closing time. *giggles* My brothers tell me I have an infectious smile and laugh...I don't really get it, but I trust them, so I guess it's true. I'm not very brave, but I like to make others happy so sometimes I'm willing to step outside my comfort zone, b-but... not to far outside of it... My brothers say that I've gotten braver over the past few years, which I guess is good news, maybe one day I'll be brave enough to go to a party. *giggles* I've always thought it would be cool, but... Parties can be loud.... Oh, I'm rambling again, I'm sorry... When I get nervous I tend to try and change the subject to keep my mind off of.... things...  Oh! I love reading mystery novels, mainly Sherlock Holmes, but I've read those several times now. I enjoy soft rain and my favorite season of all is Autumn, but there's something to be said for a snowy night and a cup of hot tea by a warm fire to keep my nerves at bay. My brothers are my most cherished treasures, as I don't think I would even step outside if it weren't for them helping me through my fears. I would do anything to make them happy. If I had to choose one thing about myself that I love the most it would be how I seem to make people smile.... I don't know how or why, but when I'm around new people they seem to become a little happier... Like I said, I don't understand it myself, but if there's something I can do to make someone's day just a little brighter I'd try just about anything to accomplish that. I love to cook and bake and I even made a bit of a name for myself selling sweets around the holidays. Anyways... that's all I can think of... I don't really care to talk this much about myself. Thank you all for listening....

Love, Sae-Bae

A note from her owner:

Sae wasn't always so fearful, she was anxious and naturally shy but when she was younger she had a near death experience that sent her natural anxieties for a loop and severely worsened them. When out bird watching in the woods, like she always did, she lost her way. As it was becoming dark the young Foxfan was growing more and more frantic and concerned. This ended with her falling off of a cliff and landing in a tree a few feet down. Still dangling from the branches, and suffering from several painful scrapes and bruises she was losing her grip. However, two Hooded Cranes came to the fox's aid and saved her from her perilous situation. Unable to move due to her fear and panic she was found the next morning by her brothers where they brought her back home and nursed her back to health. However, she was mentally never the same and feared adventuring past a certain distance into the woods. She has since gained some of her confidence back but has yet to much improvement and has never been within one hundred feet of the cliff she nearly fell off of. Now, when she's in situations she's unfamiliar with her head has a bad habit of taking her to all the worst possible scenarios and makes it difficult for her to make it through them without panicking or have a break down. She's growing stronger and braver every day though with the aid of her brothers, who love her for who she is and seem to have an endless supply of patience for the terrified foxfan.
