personality

Blair doesn't like to be left alone so he tries to make sure he always has company, be it one person or a large group of people. He's quite charismatic and knows how to charm people, but tends to only make acquaintances rather than form deep friendships. He prefers to have as much control as possible over situations, because it makes him feel secure. While he is the type to get irritated easily, he makes an effort not to show it.

Blair has a weak grip on his moral code and sometimes, secretly worries about wether he's crossing a line. Regardless, he usually pushes himself to ignore his doubts and shrugs it off.

Since he grew up in Syria, he speaks some Arabic, but also was taught French and English once he left the country. His birth name is Baqir.

appearance

Although he's tall, he's not particularly broad or muscular - in fact he's almost lanky. He has dark skin and violet eyes, with dark circles under them. His hair is dark brown and he has an undercut. His voice is deep and clear, and almost melodious. He can sing quite well but rarely does. When speaking English, he has an American accent. He smells of bread because of all the baking he does!

backstory

Blair was reborn as an umbra when he was killed in his conservative and superstitious village for being the son of an illegitimate child. Furious, he got his revenge on those who killed him before fleeing and making a new life for himself. Since his death, he panics whenever in solitary confinement or when restrained, and he suffers from claustrophobia.

interests

He has taken up cooking and especially enjoys baking bread, and cooking Italian cuisine. He has an interest in mens fashion and likes to treat himself with fancy clothes. He also likes reading, but prefers to stick to books rather than read things online since he's not very good with technology. He listens to anything that's on the radio, but doesn't have a particular favourite genre.
