Owen MacNamara

Owen is the son of a human man and a Selkie. Selkies are not normally boys, so instead he inherited his mother's magic (and of course some of her human form's physical traits). His mother left to go home to the ocean without warning when he was a young child, and his father could never quite explain why, but the two of them moved more inland away from the ocean afterwards. Owen then grew up part of his life trying to figure out if his mother left for other reasons rather than missing her oceanic home. He still cares about his dad, though, and occasionally feels like it's up to him to help care for his dad's wellbeing.

Disregarding all of that, he wants to be part of a band one day, either as drummer or lead guitarist.
