Karen (adamantly pronounce "kah-rin") Half-Orc Druid
Born to a large family in a large orc tribe, Karen (pronounced Kuh-ron) had a turbulent, and violent childhood. Trying to give him some connection to his human heritage after his human father perished (accidentally shot himself in the neck with a crossbow), his orc mother tried to give him a human name.... but unfortunately, the nuances of human culture were lost on her. Seeking fatherly validation, one day Karen wandered into a nearby human settlement, where he met an old and slightly senile woodcarver who was charmed by this muscular green child. Like any reasonable person would do, the old man gave Karen a woodcarver's knife, and it was there that Karen discovered his true calling -- woodcarving. Unfortunately, the human settlement was later attacked by a massive bear and no one survived. After a few years, emasculated both by his unfortunate name and strange hobby, Karen left his tribe and took to the woods. Since then, he's been becoming one with nature and carving wood.
