Iolaka = Negative Emotions

Iolaka are the manifestation of ones negative emotions, commonly found amoungst people with depression, anxiety, and anything else that might cause negative emotions. A Iolaka is created when a human bottles up their emotions for to long; once that happens they proceed to throw up a black sludgy substance.

Iolaka first stage are little blobs (like of grimer and muk from Pokemon but minus the arms.)

if the human continues bottling their emotions, the Iolaka reaches stage two (which is grimer and muk now including the arms.)

if emotions are still not expressed, the Iolaka reaches stage three and now no longer able to be removed. However emotions keep it from growing or getting stronger. (by they point it starts getting more of a body)

Stage 4 is it’s final stage and the Iolaka now as the choice to continue torment it’s human or devour them.

Devouring their human makes them visible to everyone around them, as before they were only seen by their human.

Iolaka usually have the same personality, but if the strongest emotion the human has (always negative) took control of their actions are speech. (example being the anger portion of Kauiinahu getting mad and attacking someone, or his hate side of him stating aloud how much he hates whatever)

Iolaka can have a sort of multiple personalities, Kauiinahu is made of 4 main negative emotions (Nate’s strongest emotions) thus giving him 4 separate personalities + 1 that is all 4 put together.

Kauiinahu is actually a combination of the 4 emotions; Huhu (anger), Inaina (hate), Kaumaha (Sad), and Ka iini (anxiety). Put the names all together you get Kauiinahu (madness/sadistic/insane- stuff like that)

An Iolaka is usually 1 personality (of all emotions together, min. 1 emotion, max. 4 emotions.) that personality of all of them usually creates a sort of mega personality. Where the human’s personality + the negative emotions create the Iolaka’s personality. Example: A human with a joyful personality + a envious emotion (could be that no matter what they do good things never seem to happen to them) as well of a bit of hate = possibly a bipolar type of Iolaka with hints of insanity in them. (Hopefully that made some sense????)

Iolaka’s bodies are always sludgy and if it touches you, you just feel incredibly gross; like as if you haven’t shower’d for a few days. When it moves around, it leave a trail of sludge behind, and it disappears after an hour. Though it just feels incredibly gross.

Iolaka’s look pretty much like anything but are always sludgy and are massive when in their final stage. Their names are the strongest emotion, if multiple strong emotions, their names are usually merged together.

Example being Kauiinahu; his names (along with the name of the species) was all words from (googletranslate) Hawaiian. (already mentioned above the names of Kauiinahu and their translations.)

Iolaka is just io laka but with no space- io laka means “negative emotion”
