At a first glance, Leona comes off as quiet, deadpan and perhaps even socially unaware. Despite this, she is by no means antisocial - Leona makes an effort to be friendly and talkative, but simply values her own company. With that being said, she enjoys the company of her true friends, and can certainly be much more energetic around the right people. She's an artistic individual, taking an interest in visual arts, music, literature and film - much of her time is spent engaging with those things, whether that means drawing, playing her guitars or curling up with a good book.

Leona is perhaps the closest thing I have to a “truesona”. I’ve tried to make her an accurate representation of who I am, even basing her physical appearance on my own. Almost everything about her is aligns with me in some way or another - however, do bear in mind that I may sometimes stray from this.

Trivia

• She’s a huge audiophile - Leona loves nothing more than collecting records and talking about them!
• She plays both guitar and bass - her guitar is called Smaug and her bass is called Meriadoc!
• Leona is probably what most people would refer to as an “old soul”. She likes cobbled streets, medieval architecture and ancient tales. She isn’t particularly keen on all aspects of modern life, particularly technology and modern-looking cities.
• She has PCOS and unusually high levels of androgen hormones, which would probably explain why she has a mane and tail fur.
• She takes a great interest in Scandinavian culture and history, particularly Norwegian culture and history. She speaks some Norwegian and hopes to learn more!

Design Notes

• Usually drawn with long, wavy hair, but can be drawn with her alt. mullet hairstyle.
• She has gradients on her limbs and tail - these must ALWAYS be drawn as gradients, please don't draw them as a solid colour!
• Pay close attention to her facial markings - she has off-white markings under her eyes and spots on her face. Please also note that the colour of her eye markings and inner ears are NOT the same cream colour as her belly - they are a paler, off-white colour.
• Usually drawn as anthro. Her feral form has an actual mane, and not hair.
• Black claws are optional, but usually preferred.
• Usually drawn clothed.
