Taurusu

The Aberrant Carnotaurus has a very low population, due to poaching for their purple bioluminescent coats, and their strong horns. The number of Aberrant Carnotaurus continues to dwindle, showing no signs of stopping.

A small egg, of an already endangered species of the Carnotaurus family, the last one of its clutch, had rolled into a small stream of water next to its destroyed nest and clutch. Its hatching ground having been ambushed by humans hunting its kind for its beautiful glowing coat of fur. 

The small egg was washed away in the water, hitting a fair amount of rocks and debris on the way. It found its way at the bottom of the stream, sitting in a little hot spring now in other nesting territory. Soon to hatch, and seemingly helpless.

A member of the [Vetheom Venitus] species had found the egg whilst taking a drink from the water. It reached to pick up the unborn Carnotaurus, examining the egg with a deep curiosity. Its high intelligence allowed for sympathy and compassion, the female mother Venit carrying the egg to her nest, and situating it next to her other unborn offspring. A rare, but not unheard of phenomenon of nature allowing itself to occur.

After hatching, the mother showed the same love for this adopted offspring as she did her own, nourishing him and helping him grow into a strong Aberrant Carnotaurus, while feeling not quite the same as the other members of the clutch, he still found this place to be his home, and the Venit to be his mother. She taught him to hunt and thrive, trying to help him use his evolutionary differences to his advantage.

• Due to being adopted into a new family, he is very compassionate for others, and cherishes the small things while he can. He is not as intelligent as his adopted family, but he tries his best and they make him feel right at home.
