It started at a masquerade. Rowan was approached by Scully, who offered to work with her on her performances. The two hit it off instantly, and Rowan was instantly starstruck. Scully completed her performances and the young pair were the talk of the city. Scully wanted more however, he detested the fact that Rowan used 'party tricks' in her acts instead of real magic. Magic being highly illegal, Rowan shut this idea down time and time again, she loved the skill involved in magic tricks. Her and Scully's partnership began to deteriorate, collapsing in one final fight. In a rage, Scully fused Rowan's signature fox mask to her face, forever branding her as someone associated with magic if anyone were to realize.
