Nier was a lone traveler and a great mage, traveling the continents and helping people in any way he could, always with a soft smile.
One day he went through a forest where he sensed many souls, different from the usual creatures, and a strange magic. He wandered for quite some time and finally reached the source of the magic power : a cute little house stood in the middle of the woods, in a heartwarming glade.
His eyes crossed the turquoise look of the soft inhabitant of the place, a young girl named Ame, and instantly was attracted to the mysterious ghostly lady. But she was surprised and scared to see him there, despite the magic barrier surrounding her house, he quickly reassured her and let her know he had no intention to hurt her and was just here because he sensed strange magic and souls, worrying that something might be going on in the forest. He was relieved to learn it was just this young lady living here, sourrounded by ghosts.
The spirits around Ame assured her that the young man was pure hearted, she offered him hospitality. They talked about each other, Nier worrying about why she would need such a particular magic barrier to protect herself. Ame unveiled her past bits by bits and understanding how serious her situation was, the young man offered to lend his powers to make her place a peaceful realm for herself and her spirit friends. He created a magic bubble around her house, isolating the place using time and space magic, and only a few people dear to Ame could penetrate it.
Once he was sure she was in complete safety, he left as usual when he accomplished his task. But as he continued traveling, Ame was always in his thoughts and dreams. Realising the feelings he was bearing, he went back to her side as soon as he could, sensing his heart fluttering...

Girlfriend
Nier helped her to put up a barrier that would truly protect her. Once he left and when they were appart they realised the feelings they had for each other and Nier ended up coming back to her side.
Friend
A friend of Ame who comes to visit quite often. Whenever she comes, Nier has to put up with lemon juice and... yuck ! He's pretty sure she knows he can't stand it but she might enjoy picking on him a little.
- His design is based on the sonoran blue butterfly.
- There's a butterfly battern on his abs.
