youth from modern world Japan. After suddenly landing into Twisted Wonderland, they decide to just go with the flow and wait for Crowley to find a way for them to go back home. They enjoy attending Night Raven College, though find it a bit exhausting while getting dragged into the other students' shenanigans, and is always willing to help the others.

They slowly make friends with the others students and somehow, deep down, is going to regret going back to their home world when the time comes.

Trivia

Yue was the first to learn that Lin was genderfluid. He supported them greatly and helped them tell it to their parents. As such, Lin is arguably the closest to their older brother.
While Lin's preferred pronoun is "they", they are absolutely fine when people call them with he/him or she/her pronouns, giving that they are currently that gender.
Lin is usually wearing the male uniform, though there are days where they will wear a skirt. When this first happened, a lot of students were surprised but didn't question it.
Lin mostly identifies as male, but it stems from them not being sure of how they should act as a girl sometimes when they are a girl.
They have a habit of gifting baked goods to their friends.
They are easily bribed with food and cute outfits.
On their friendship charm, Lin is represented by the leaf.

I. Personality

n easy-going person who always tries their best to help their friends and others. They tend to tune their emotions to the others around them and gets too nosy in the affairs of others, causing some moments where they get hurt. In addition, they are slow in figuring out people's intentions at them which leads them to get in trouble quite easily.

Because of how easy-going they are, they tend to be quite oblivious and get along with a lot of people. Their obliviousness contributes to their curiosity, letting them continuously butt into other people's affairs without realizing, and to how easily they are tricked into doing things they might not be too keen on doing. From this, they have a habit of sticking to people, leading to them having a fear of being alone and rejection.

However, they can be easily angered when it relates to the people close to them. They don't hesitate to become aggressive when tested, and would turn to violence if they feel like its necessary to protect their close ones.

II. History

in was born from Bai Yi, their father, and Murase Hifumi, their mother, in Japan. Yi went to live in Japan for college and met Hifumi there, falling in love, and got married after 3 years of dating. They were born as their second child, the first was their older brother Yue who is 2 years older.

As a child, Lin grew close to Yukina and Poppy, two girls they met through school. The three of them stuck together, playing in the school's garden and even hanging at each other's houses. Lin thought of them as their best friends, people who they would like to stay with forever. Since they often hung out with Poppy and Yukina, they were often teased by their male classmates, considering that they identified as a boy then. Poppy and Yukina defended them from these bullies, allowing the three to get even closer.

Once they entered middle school at age 13, they started identifying themselves as genderfluid but was hesitant in telling the people around them. They eventually told Yue first and after getting support from their brother, they told Yukina and Poppy a few months later, very nervously. Even after that, they didn't publically identify as genderfluid but was glad that the people the closest to them were aware; that was enough for them.

III. Skills & Abilities

Baking/Cooking

When young, they helped out their mother with cooking meals and such. They also further "trained" this skill by helping out Poppy. As they take up baking as a hobby, they are quite confident in their baking and cooking skills.

Great Focus

Came to be after practicing a lot to make sure their photos aren't blurry or out of focus. They also tend to stay fixated on a certain thing, if they feel like they need to.

Empathy

Has great empathy towards others, they often tune their emotions to other's.

Soothing Presence

Has an air that lets people feel at ease around them. Well...when they aren't irritated or angry at someone.

Akido

They are trained in Akido since they joined Yue in lessons. They try to not use it at all, preferring to be in the background, but they sometimes utilize their skills on Grim (or anyone else) when angered.

Magic Understanding

Despite not being able to use magic at all, Lin has some magical affinity. They can create puffs of smoke when trying to use magic. Because of their understanding of magic, they can help and tutor their fellow first years study for their exams and such.

IV. Relationships

Ace TrappolaLove Interest/Close Friend/Classmate

One of Lin's first friends at Night Raven College. After getting the magic stone at Dwarf's Mine, they got closer even though they were hostile to each other at first.

Initially taken aback with how Ace spoke to them at the first meeting, Lin finds Ace's honesty with no filter refreshing. They trust him greatly, but they will never trust him with anything related to studying since they know that Ace would try to shortcut his way out of it. When troubled, Lin will most likely go to either him or Deuce for advice or just someone to be by their side in general.

Despite their trust for him, they often fight with Ace, sometimes for the stupidest of things. As such, it's quite normal to see the two of them just throwing fists at each other.

Unknown to Ace, Lin has a crush on him. They have no intention of telling Ace their feelings, but they unconsciously blush every so often whenever hanging out with Ace and Deuce.

A monster that Lin lives with at Ramshackle Dorm. With Grim, Lin and he count as one student at Night Raven College.

While first meeting Grim wasn't a nice encounter, since Grim did try to rob them of their clothes and burn them somewhat, Lin is quite taken with Grim and tends to go at the monster's own pace. As such, they often let Grim go with the thought that they are Grim's "sidekick" even though it is the other way around. However, Lin wouldn't hesitate to scold Grim if he really did something that went against their nerves or anyone else's. Especially after getting comfortable with Grim, Lin would also not hesitate in smacking Grim at the back of the head to scold the monster. This causes Grim to be slightly afraid of their strength.

They are really concerned about Grim with each black stone Grim eats, having a real bad feeling whenever they see it happen. However, they don't voice their worry since they are aware that Grim will just say that it isn't a big deal.

Chiaki "Poppy" NakaharaChildhood Friend

Poppy is one of Lin's childhood friends and is considered one of their best friends. Lin often mentions her during their time at NRC, mainly during the time they're in nature or baking since it reminds them of her.

The two met when they were 7 years old, in the garden of their elementary school. Lin decided to take a walk during break time, finding Poppy there, watering poppy flowers. They volunteer to help after hearing her complain a bit about her home life and they become close friends soon after. Because of their closeness to each other, there was a rumor of the two dating during the later years of elementary school and the beginning of middle school. Lin had no idea about the rumors and often gets utterly confused when asked about it.

Yukina HoshinoChildhood Friend

Yukina is one of Lin's childhood friends and is considered one of their best friends. Lin often mentions her during their time at NRC, mainly during calm points or relaxing and baking since it reminds them of her.

The two met in elementary school, with Lin being 7 and Yukina being 8, at the school's garden. As Yukina often spent time at the garden to have "tea time," the two bumped into each other after Yukina offers them to eat some snacks with her. It was through this meeting that the two of them adopted the nickname "Poppy" to Chiaki, because of the poppy flowers Lin and Poppy were watering.

Yue is Lin's older brother, who is their most trusted person in their life. While in Twisted Wonderland, they often wonder how their brother is and sort of wishes that he was with them. Yue is 2 years older than them.
