Rhody (Synthesized Rhody)

To compartmentalize how Francine feels about her emotions, she creates imaginary characters to inject her emotions into and materialize. Synthesized Rhody is Francine's conceived mental creation of how to she imagines her father to cope with his troubling upbringing as she feels he seems to have no trouble with it at all. 

While Synthesized Rhody does not exist in the real world, he exists powerfully in Francine's mind and sketchbooks as a symbol for what her father has endured.
