The Ruthless has always been an angry troll. Angry at the injustices of the empire, angry at the assumption that things would always have to be this way. So she joined the rebellion when she was young and stayed with it, fighting ruthlessly (heh) in their name for sweeps on end. She'd often disobey orders from The Rebellious in favor of doing even more damage, but she made a mistake the last time she did so.

She was captured and made into another one of The Dixenogeneticist's experiments, the pain and helpless anger fueling her eventual escape. She used the information she learned to write a journal to her descendant and lead the rebellion to launch a full attack on the empire where it's weakest. But she snuck away at a crucial moment to kill her tormentor and set fire to his lab, making the empress come down to kill her personally. She would be remembered as the Experiment, and the empress would make her name into a joke.
