--------------

Personality

Kadona can be quite reserved or reclusive, but without realising it, will start talking a lot when something that interests her comes up. She harbours self-doubt instilled by her father in her early childhood. When in a pinch, she always tries to remember her mother and what she told her, but sometimes things are too much to bear, and she doesn't hold it together easily, turning into a ball of despair. She will often be seen doing odd things, like looking closely at something for a long time in a place where that wouldn't be exactly accepted, or climbing upon buildings to inspect something. She also doesn't fare well with crowds of people or nosy people. She has trouble maintaining a conversation, or showing her emotions much.

History

As the daughter of Ame-No-Mi-Kumari, goddess of water and daughter of Minato-No-Kami, a great god of rivers and estuaries, everyone was expecting her to be a goddess related to water. That would not turn out to be the case, though, as she seemed never to be able to wield water or interact happily with it, and instead turned to more malleable, solid objects, always trying to build structures out of them, repeating the same processes over and over again. People thought she was weird, as she'd have countless 'rituals' that she repeated. Wood, especially, fascinated her. For all this, she was shunned by many on the family, and her father eventually tried to kill them but wasn't able to, although he left scars both on Kumari and Kadona, then he left her and her mother, arguing they were a disgrace. Thankfully, though Ame-No-Mi-Kumari first had a really hard time accepting her daughter for what she was, she started to grow closer to her and hate their father, who neglected their daughter and constantly belittled her. Ame-No-Mi-Kumari went to a seer, who told her that 'it was on the same terms, that everything was made'. Kumari interpreted this as a bridge between her water flow and her daughter's wooden structures. The flow of water permitted boats to move, it did not hinder them. The inner workings of water, she thought, must be similar to the inner workings of wood. She tried to connect her water to her her daughter's, Kadona's, wood. People would think she was crazy for trying to connect two obviously dissimilar disciplines, but her daughter never looked happier than when her mother started playing with her, helping her, caring for her. Before that, she reclused herself with her wooden toys and would utter as little words as possible. She'd seen her cry multiple times, asking why, why was she not WA. TER. As everyone wanted her to be. Kumari's mindset, little by little, started changing. The seer's words finally let her see the light. When Kadona was 18 years old, her father attempted to kill her and her mother. He was unable to and escaped. They never saw him again after that... for a while. Three or four years later, when Kadona was exploring out on her own, far from her mother, she felt something, she felt her heart aching suddenly, her mother was dying, or rather, being murdered, she knew it. She tried getting to her mother's place, but never could--darkness fell upon her, and she was no more.

Skills and Limitations

- Usually can not create an structure out of nothing, yet she can create a door or a similar structure if the material is available. The more complex the structure, the more time it takes. The longer it takes to build it, the more stable and durable it is.

- Doors and gates are fairly easy for her to create, even with little materiales. Even though she should be good with boats, considering her lineage, she always struggled with making them and is still learning.

--------------

Special Skills

- Heaven's Prison. She can conjure up a prison-like structure (of wood, usually) attached to the ground if she is in dire need, out of no materials, or rather, out of materials brought from the heavens.

- Heaven's Door. Many gods are after this specific technique, as it can create doors that lead anyone entering through it to heaven. This door has to be, though, crafted in a very specific and complex way, and may not work at first try. It's not an easy technique by any means.

- Instant Hokora. Wooden Hokora can be created out of Heaven materials and with ease.

--------------

Kind of God

- She's the goddess of wood and structures. Logically, she can barely work with structures not made of wood as she hasn't practised much with them. She specialises in doors, gates and similar structures, and might be able to work with them even if they are not made of wood.

- Architects pray to her for a solid foundation of their building.
