Casovan

Casovan was a promising young warrior, he was strong with a pair of mighty wings. His scales were magnificently bright, and most of all his eyes were a striking crimson. He was favored by the leader of his tribe and by the gods(no this doesn’t follow WoF), there was another promising warrior. He was just as handsome and witty as Casovan, but his wings were never as strong. 

His name was Armedius, he was greedy and malicious. One day, Casovan was monitoring the perimeter of his tribes territory, the edge of their territory being marked by a great cliff. As Casovan was too busy watching the rocks below, Armedius snuck up behind him, and pushed him. Casovan never had enough time to even open his wings, as the moment he did, they were torn by the rocks below. As he was in pain, the blood from his torn wings attracted a nearby shark.

I won’t go into details, but when he died he was still in the watery depths. The shark had ate its fill and swam off, leaving Casovan to sink. One god in particular had taken such a great liking to Casovan that he gave him life again, to seek revenge. This god was the god of chaos, which is why Casovan has the red hue to his eyes and missing parts. 

Casovan decided just before ending his killers life, that he would not take such an action. The one thing that he never knew, was that in order to rest peacefully he NEEDED to kill Armedius. And because he never did, he’s been alive for hundreds of years.
