In her early years, Jessie was actually pretty confident and outgoing. She lived life with a reckless abandon type attitude, not caring about what others thought about her. She almost always spoke her mind and wasn't afraid of being wrong or made fun of, and she tried to make friends with anyone she could, no matter if they had anything in common or not. Of course, she had a few close friends, but everyone else was pretty much a friendly acquaintance. She really had no enemies, and even to this day she doesn't. However, her personality took a massive shift in the last half of high school. She became more reserved and shy, rarely speaking out in class and sticking with her old friends rather than actively try to make new ones. Of course, if someone approached her first, she'd interact with them no problem. She still enjoys social interaction, she's just rarely the one who starts it or who keeps the conversation going. She's overall pretty passive and isn't much in terms of leadership (although she would take over projects if she had to, and would usually do very well in them). However, if she can help it, she'd rather just be told what to do and do those tasks required of her. She tries to avoid stressful situations when she can, as she doesn't do well under stress in the slightest. Jessie doesn't have much control over her emotions, and under pressure she tends to just break down and start crying. She hates that she does this, but nothing she does to stop it seems to work, and it only makes things worse in the end.

Outwardly, Jessie is practically the physical embodiment of "no thoughts, head empty". However, inwardly this couldn't be farther from the truth. Really, her head is flooded with ideas and a variety of thoughts 24/7. She finds that she can never catch a break, and even in her down time is busy working on something, always trying to satisfy that insatiable buzzing in her head. However, when interacting with others, she appears to be more spaced out than anything, and when asked a question, will sometimes look blankly ahead before shaking back to reality and delivering a rather confused "huh?". Jessie has a tendency to overthink even the simplest problem or interaction, and while all those solutions or responses are bouncing around in her head, she can barely put together a cohesive response and usually ends up shutting down, leading to that "head empty" appearance.

Ok, maybe some more positivity? Jessie is very punctual, and takes pride in that fact. If she's got somewhere she needs to be at a certain time, she does her best to arrive at least 15 minutes early (something left over from her band days). If for some reason she's ever late to something, she'll mentally beat herself up about it for days. When it comes to assignments, she's happy to report she hasn't missed a due date yet. She does procrastinate sometimes, though, but even if she has to stay up all night to get something done, she'll do it. She's also pretty determined to succeed in whatever her mind's set out for her. Once she starts something, she'll see it through to the bitter end and can be pretty stubborn about things, not willing to give up too easily.

NOTE

Jessie is my Persona. I don't have an official reference for her yet since I'm not really a human artist, however her Centaur Form works well for a hair/face ref! Anyways, when drawing her just keep in mind that she can really wear whatever, and her glasses are no longer red. Just go with black.

Amber

[ Former Pet Cat / Smelly Cat / Tiny ] "Amber was my first cat! I'd always wanted a calico cat for as long as I could remember, and for my 10th birthday, my parents adopted Amber from the local shelter. She was so smol and cute but she drooled on everything and kept scaring everyone that she was gonna die. But no. In around June of 2019, Amber's condition got worse, and that September, she just rapidly declined. Suspecting she didn't have much more time left, I did my best to make the last part of her life as happy as it could be. I knew it'd be sad to see her go, but at least she wouldn't be suffering anymore~ Amber passed away on October 20th, 2019, at the age of about 9 years old. She passed away peacefully in her sleep without a sound."

Zorro

[ Pet Cat / Love Love / Wiggle Butt ] "Zorro is my second cat! He just showed up at my doorstep and wouldn't leave. So, after having him checked for a microchip with no results and after filing a "Found Cat" form with no response a month later, he was mine. He is the sweetest little kitty and everyone loves him. He does like to pick fights tho, and has a nick in his ear to prove it. He's a little rebel, sometimes he escapes and I have to catch him and bring him back. I'm happy to report Zorro became a mini celebrity in my microeconomics class, when the professor mentioned him in her "about you" slideshow."
