Born with a beautiful coat, many males begged her paw in mateship. Knowing of her low fertility, she knew she must turn them down. These males wanted pups. They wanted her genes and she simply could not provide. Sad and disgusted, she chose to travel, hoping to find a mate that would not mind her lack of fertility, and would be happy to have her as she is.
