alive...?Zydeco is the firstborn son to James, and his step-mother Lyvoria. He's a hard worker but doesn't really have much time for others. His skills in light magic are unparalleled to those of his age, and he someday hopes to become a powerful mage that will be known in history books for centuries to come.

Zydeco is a very intelligent noomeria. He knows a lot about the history of Beltinia and has a vast knowledge of all kinds of magic. He's always curious to learn more of how magic affects the world of Arien, and how it can affect living creatures and environments. He's always dreamed of being a powerful mage like the ones he'd read about growing up. Zyde can get a bit cocky on just how much he knows, and constantly shoves in his experience of learning and lessons of magic he had growing up. He's hard on himself when he makes a mistake, but he always fixes his wrong and gets better.
He is also very, very stubborn. He also prefers to work alone, and shies away from teammwork and group activities. He's awkward when speaking to new people, and comes off as stiff and boring when he tries too hard to impress others. He always tries to come off as smarter or better than he feels he is, subconciously trying to achieve the presence his mother had upon him. He doesn't like to speak about his personal life and can shut off a conversation very quickly if he starts to feel it's coming to that. Around his very few friends he's still quiet and snippy, but he's softer in some ways, too. It's very easy to say one thing that will send him on a rambling spree about his favorite subjects, and he's very willing to do just about anything for those he cares about, even at the cost of his own life.- magic :D

Zydeco James Dullet was born under Lyvoria and James Dullet. He had many expectations set before him, and a good environment for him to grow into a successful and powerful noomeria that would carry on the family legacy. From the moment he could properly read and write, Zydeco showed a lot of potential. He was quick to learn and very curious to attend his lessons every day. He was taught by his mother, and by tutors that showed him how to harness his elemental powers. He was merely a toddler as his mother took him to other highly esteemed families, showing off his great potential and prowess as a noomeria.
James got into a lot of arguments with Lyvoria, and eventually he threatened to leave the family with both Zydeco and Templeton so they wouldn’t be mistreated anymore. Zydeco barely even knew what to think of all the arguing when he found out he was moving out with James and Tempo, far away from Lyvoria.
Zydeco now lives with his father and brother in Inekstead, a small town far away from the Holmeston manor. Sometimes he and James visit to see Maggie, his step sister, but some days he wonders if he... should stay. Mags is sweet and fun to be with, and Lyvoria seems to act nicer to him as well.
What could possibly go wrong?

His younger brother- he'd do anything for Tempo, but he doesn't always get along with him. Tempo just gets so... loud sometimes. Most days he feels it would be better if the two of them were far apart.
He wants to protect her and teach her to someday be as great as James. Everyone should be like him. He doesn't want Lyvoria to taint such an innocent child.
Zydeco aspires to be just like his father someday. He's just perfect, how could no one like him? Zyde wants to be liked.
