Navi (Just Navi, he claims) is one of the few caprimaid pirates out at sea. As the captain of the Sharkjaw, he claims to sail the seven seas to steal treasure and scare the shit outta others. But… could it be? Does he really smuggle caprimaids who just wanted a better life for themselves? Is that the real reason for Sharkjaw?

Regardless, it’s obvious that he has a love for pirating and a love for the sea. He’s nimble with himself, almost like he’s been a pirate his entire life. He has a small inner circle, consisting of four others, along with some contacts outside of his crew. But for the most part, he keeps to himself.

When you first meet Navi, he seems rather distant and doesn’t fuck around with his words. You want something from him? He will tell you the disclaimers and dangers. You want to join him? He will do everything he can to deter you from doing so. You wanna fight him? He’ll square up for sure. But underneath the tough exterior, you’ll find that deep inside, Navi isn’t a bad person. He offers his services to those who just want a better life, often discounting his fees despite his better judgement. In short, he’s a caprimaid with a tough exterior, but a kind heart.

Born as Compass to two madly in love pirates on the S.S Hammerhead, he was raised on the pirate ship as a young lad. He learnt rather quickly about the ways of a pirate, and he showed remarkable promise with his navigating skills, hence the name, Compass. Things were going well, when a rival pirate ship came. The two crews fought, and Navi’s parents were killed in the struggle. To make matters worse, a royal guard member found him without his parents, causing them to drag poor Compass away from his home. Now in an orphanage, with the only thing to remind him of his home, a sharktooth necklace, he was a rowdy one. Always getting into fights, and trying so hard to escape the orphanage. Unfortunately, he’d never be successful. When he finally grew up, doing his coming of age ceremony he gave his necklace in turn, expecting to find his crew once again, just to find that the crew had been lost at sea. Angry with himself for not returning sooner, he changes his name to Navi and sets out to make a new crew of his own. Fixing an abandoned boat, he names it the Sharkjaw. He finds his inner circle and cares for them, though he won’t admit it. Together, they steal treasure and smuggle caprimaids!
