June has always had an undying enthusiasm and generally optimistic outlook on life. She is an adventurer at heart who strongly believes in 'going with the flow' and tackling her problems one at a time. June built a reputation of incredible laziness and living a very 'all play, no work' life. Despite her easily-distracted manner, she dedicated most of her attention towards learning various instruments in solitude. While June is not necessarily a shy person, she's very independent and by no means, an extrovert. She strongly keeps to herself.
In her younger years, she had an extremely feisty and rebellious personality but with age, this fire dulled. June learned to take more responsibility over her life while still maintaining her free-spirited nature.

Childhood (1559-1580)
June grew up with her many siblings in a middle-class setting. Her father was a reputable music teacher and spent most of her life surrounded by multiple instruments. As a child, instead of learning academics, she was taught skills such as sewing, embroidery, and music. June learned the basics of playing the flute, cornett, organ, and a variety of string instruments. However, her instrument of choice was the lute. She mastered the skill of lute-playing and continued her passion into adulthood.
Growing up, June had a close relationship with her siblings. Especially her two older sisters, Letitia and Anne.
June's parents set up an arranged marriage with a family friend, the son of a local luthier.
Adulthood (1580-1584)
At 22, she got married. Her husband ran a business as a luthier and June would occasionally help out. However, she primarily worked as a housewife, cooking and cleaning.
When her husband was at work and her daily duties were completed, she spent the evenings writing music. She grew nostalgic for her youth as her impending future as a mother grew close. To put it bluntly, she wasn't excited or mentally prepared. Music kept her serene.
Motherhood (1583-1590)
In 1582, she gave birth to her first child, Catherine. Unfortunately, at the young age of 10 months, Catherine passed away due to breeding teeth. This left June heartbroken and felt hopeless as a mother. However, she was already pregnant with her second child.
As April arrived, she gave birth to Alexander. June was determined to see this child grow into an adult and kept a constant eye on him. Frequently sacrificing her needs.
In 1585, June's husband passed away, marking her as a widow. She inherited her husband's trade and attempted to maintain his business. This ultimately failed and she began work as a street merchant. During these times, June grew insanely close to her son. Alexander inherited her love for music and was taught to play the lute.
