Anante is a vessel, and one of the more "recent" children of the Pale King and the White Lady. As the oldest vessel recovered from the Abyss after the successful completion of the Hollow Project, she has been deemed Hallownest's Princess. She possesses significant mental faculties, and what some suspect to be a perfect willpower -- uncommon for the original vessels, and at one time considered a most severe, dangerous flaw. Her ability to express herself is weaker, though, and she also suffers from bouts of depression as a result of an "incomplete" mind.
Anante is very energetic and adventurous by nature, with a keen mind and sharp skills obtained through diligent training. As Princess, she is aware of her status and conducts herself nobly, treating all she meets with goodwill to bolster the name of her Kingdom. She has a strong rebellious streak as well, though, and is known to spend much of her time off of the beaten path -- most notably, she considers Kingdom's Edge to be her preferred stomping grounds.

Story
Born in the Abyss but raised in the seclusion and relative safety of the White Palace, from a young age she received tutelage in the ways of SOUL from the Soul Sanctum. Once she grew old enough, she was personally trained in combat by her half-sister, the renowned warrior and Queen of Deepnest, Hornet.

Design
- Anante has an elegant figure, with a sloping face that comes to a point like Hornet's. Her face is adorned with four long horns.
- Her eyes possess a grey "light" to them, marking that she is very far from being completely empty.
- Her biocloak is brown; where it stands tall and has a natural collar, it is too short for her liking -- normally as vessels grow, it grows with them, but hers has not grown much even as she has reached adolescence. As such, she wears a yellow overcloak to make up for it.

Born from imperfect, discarded nails that have fused together. The nails still long to be wielded.
Allows the bearer to slash much more rapidly with their nail.
Hiveblood
Golden nugget of the Hive's precious hardened nectar.
Heals the bearer's wounds over time, allowing them to regain health without focusing SOUL.

Nuisom
Ahh, Nuisom... where can you even begin with these two? Anante and Nuisom have a sort of friendly rivalry; they enjoy sparring and dancing together often. Nuisom constantly throws snark around and makes jokes in the presence of the more uptight Anante to get her to lighten up a bit, and in return she shows him all that Hallownest has to offer.
That being said, they are on opposing sides of Hallownest's ideology, with Nui beholden to the Nightmare Realm and Anante to the Pale King. It's only a matter of time before that difference becomes too prominent to ignore.
