Comes from the world of Apheon, (a world demolished buy humans and magic) he is from a lineage of familiars that are book keepers. The humans have all died and become monsters and a lot of the history of the war has dissaeapered. 

Diz is traveling around the world to find the broken pieces of history, and along the way finds that history may be repeating itself.
