Kyeran is a troublemaker, is arrogant, mischievous and an all around meanie and jerk. He likes to take candy from children, pop their balloons and ruin their fun. He enjoys picking on others and annoying them especially Koan. Pulling pranks on people is second nature and he can't help but laugh at other people's misery. He's selfish and takes what he wants not sparing any brain space to think of the consequences. However, for all his faults and how much he pesters Koan, he is protective of the human who rescued him from his life as a starving orphan. Even if that protectiveness is expressed in the most roudabout way possible.

[Details]
Setting. A modern world where humans and demons co-exist. Sort of. Humans are the ruling majority and the demons are segregated into a doman called The Underground. There are several of these domains throughout the world, all are quite large with multiple entrances. There are no guards and the demons are technically free to come and go as they wish. Most, however, choose to stay separate from humans. The demons that do reside with the humans have roles of servitude or take part in the "entertainment" industry. It's not impossible to see a demon attending a human university, but that is the 1% minority.
The Underground. Despite the name, it's not literally under the ground. In all ways it looks like a normal human city, albeit with different architectural tastes. You'll find a more obvious gothic vibe with an increased amount of violence-themed statues and decapitated sculpted heads decorating exterior buildings. It's not uncommon for a human child to start crying from just a glimpse. In terms of occupations, if the human side has it so does it exist for the demons. The way disputes are settled, however, is decidedly less civil.
Like any urban area, the lower income class is sectioned off from the rest of society. As one would expect, crime rates are higher, the streets are dirtier, and stray demon dogs run amok as if they own the place. If demons had any sort of conscience, perhaps these areas would get fixed up, but unfortunately the selfish nature of demons are not so easily altered.

Housemate, best friend, and love interest(?). Saved him from his miserable days as an orphan in the Underground. Would never admit it, but would do anything that Koan could ever ask of him. Has started feeling more possessive towards him but is unable to pinpoint the exact reason why.
