Just like the silence that they take care of, Mortecai can be perceived as either comforting or terrifying. They are quite the anxious being, easily startled by bright sights or sounds. For this reason they are actually quite elusive. Not many people have met Mortecai face to face. Which is a shame, really, as Mortecai very much enjoys the company of others. Friends that they make are friends for life. Mortecai just wishes their were more of them.
