Sleak's original look, before patching up his relationship with Torch and deciding to make some changes.
This is his original bio, as per his PTT NPC sheet:
Name: Sleak Disyne
Race: Squid Inkling
Role: Judge & Special Event Announcer
Backstory:
A superfresh high-ranked, high-level (or so he says) squid Inkling from the faraway city of Inkopolis. Sleak's been in Turf Wars ever since he could hold a Splattershot Jr., but he has since found himself liking rollers far better. He usually carries his Krak-On Roller everywhere, which HAS got him into hot water with some people.. especially shopkeepers and people who accidentally got smacked with it. This has caused him to put away the Roller whenever he's in public, though if there's inking to be done, he will be the first holding his weapon.
Sleak often travels around to join Turf Wars in other locations, often finding himself participating in Splat Zone competitions as well as some.. underground competitions, finding himself enamored with the different kinds of events some people have come up with- after all, Turf War is only one kind of ink event.. And especially if there's a Splatfest, you can usually find Sleak and his Krak-On closely nearby.
That said.. Sleak was in fact travelling around, on his way back to Inkopolis when he found himself at Cephalo City for the night. It was his intention to only stick around for a day and then move on.. but as he became disgusted with the local competition he found himself in a position where he felt he had to fix this issue. Confident in his eye for detail, he decided he'd help out with judging- after all, when he himself was in turf wars, he often found himself already declaring himself winner (or loser) before the judgment was delivered..
Sleak hopes that by improving the judging, that the local competition would heat up.. if not, he could always throw in some events he has learned the existence of on his travels.. in fact, perhaps that's an even better idea.. Perhaps his ideas for events will eventually keep the local squids smokin' fresh.
