Doūmak was born as one of a set of twin boys born to his parents who owned and ran a bodega. He and his twin brother Malk grew up with loving parents who treated them equally, so the two of them didn't really grow up caring too much about who the eldest brother is, but when it matters, it should be known that Doūmak is the oldest twin. They are very different, but despite their differences, they’re very close and to often look out for each other. They are each other’s closest confidants and their worst enemies at times. Among some of their differences is the fact that Doūmak has no food allergies or anything while his twin brother Malk was allergic to gluten.

Doūmak grew up with a love for all things related to cooking, his particular passion thought was for baking and candy-making. This passion was only second to his love for all things geeky and nerdy. These passions understandably led him to be more of a home-body and one who was over-weight, which led him to receive a great deal of bullying at school. This in turn led to Doūmak both retreat to places such as the library to avoid social interaction as well as to him having body image issues, so he would often choose to dress in long-sleeved clothing or clothes that would hide his weight. Despite the bullying, Doūmak did not pursue to change anything about himself other than to start exercising a bit more, but it could generally be said that whenever Doūmak wasn't either reading, watching TV shows & movies, or playing video games he could be found doing something in the kitchen.

His passion for the culinary arts led Doūmak to pursue college, something which his parents were not able to afford to help him with, but which he was thankfully able to afford thanks to the scholarships and grants which he had been awarded. Doūmak didn't go to a fancy culinary arts school, instead choosing to start at a community college and then transferring to a four year university. During his college years, Doūmak did not date as no one really had any interest in him, so his effort was solely put into his schooling and his passions. It was during this time that Doūmak discovered what he wanted to do in life and after he had earned the proper degrees, he set about combining two of his passions into a business. He bought a store and called it Fandom Sweets, making it a store where he would serve fandom related and inspired baked goods and candy.

Not long after setting up his business and starting to earn a fair amount of money, Doūmak began partaking in various charity organizations or just doing charitable activities. One of his particular favorite things was to visit the local orphanages and volunteer there either teaching the children how to cook or whatever he's needed for. It was through this volunteer work that he first met a young German-American orphan boy by the name of Jordi Jockel Lanik-Rothbaur, he became quite invested in and whom he came to adopt. Being a single dad was hard to adjust to, but something which Doūmak came to adapt to quickly. He ended up adopting another son, a Scottish boy named Scotty and later adopted a little girl named Nato whom he found as a baby when she was abandoned at his doorstep. He loves his children very much and fully supports them in all of their endeavors as well as their sexualities/gender identities, he's a good dad who loves to spend time with his three adoptive children and does a great deal of clothing & toy repairs as well as driving to 4-H & FFA meetings as well as martial arts classes.

Amidst all of this, his best friend Amor was always there to keep him sane and to help him out whenever family matters caused Doūmak to be unable to work at his shop or fill orders.
