Syncc is a non-playable character in Final Fantasy X. She's an Al Bhed that meets Tidus while on Yuna's pilgrimage. She's also an optional romance for Tidus if the player doesn't choose to romance Yuna.

Profile

Appearance

Syncc is a young woman of average height, standing at a humble 5'6" with pale skin that harbors a warm undertone. Her eyes are spiral shaped, like the other Al Bhed's, with slight heterchromia with the left eye being teal and the right eye being green, something that often goes unnoticed by most. She wears dark, smokey eye , which is not only fashionable but also helps protects her sensitive eyes from the sun with a natural, glossy lip color. Her hair is a strawberry blonde that falls to her waist with shaggy bangs, pulled back into a high ponytail which is laced with braids throughout. 

Her outfit consists of a purple and orange bodysuit with cut out around her waist, connected to a black and pink top that sits around her neck with a pair of blue and orange belted arm warmers, black gloves. Around her chest is a yellow harness and around her thighs are black harnesses. On the top of her head sits a pair of pink tinted goggles.

Personality

Syncc is a jovial young Al Bhed that is shown as sweet and loving, harboring a huge heart for the many people of Spira. Loyalty is very important to her, something that she cherishes deeply and vows to protect those to the end, even if it means dying for anothers life. She cares for everyone in the deepest manor, focusing more on them than she does herself because she believes that being needed is the highest honor of all. Syncc believes that personal feeling and duty are similar to her, both needing to exist and co-habitually work together.

She's rather humorous with a bit of a playful and cunning side which shows itself in random moments. Clumsy with a short term memory, Syncc is rather similar to the comic relief character that lightens up serious moments with banter. She's rather hot-headed and tends to get into fights with others, easily slipping into her native tongue when she does or mixing languages together in a show of anger.

Trivia

• Syncc was based off my old self-insert for a Dissidia Ball thing back in my old Quizilla days.
• While she's Al Bhed, she's actually half Al Bhed. It's revealed later on that she comes from a royal bloodline far back, although the history surrounding it is muddled and has been lost to time.
• Despite being half Al Bhed, she knows enough of the language to get by, but she jokes that she doesn't understand a word they say.
• Her homeworld is originally Bikanel, but she ended up moving to Beside Island since the heat is more tolerable to her pale skin. Because of that, she burns relatively easy and is unable to get a nice tan like the other Al Bhed's.
• She has slight heterochromia, which often goes unnoticed given the same shade of color between her green and teal eye.
• Her eyes are sensitive to light, so she tends to wear her goggles a lot of the times, even when it's not sunny outside. She also produces a lot of tears, often being mistaken with her crying when she wasn't.
• Like all Al Bheds, she's adept at swimming but she's terrible at Blitzball.
• Syncc ends up dying shortly after the battle with Jecht, and due to her friendship with Nuuca, she and Wakka end up naming their son after Syncc in her honor.
• Gippal is her uncle, although it's not stated if it's blood relation or not.
