- Looks Hylian when out of the forest, but takes a Korok form when inside the forest.
- Sneaks out as the Deku Tree refuses to let them out of the forest.
- Took up art when they were young, since they are "locked up" most of the time.
Kuidal is a pretty laid-back fellow, taking life at their own pace. They tend to not speak often with others but prefer to loiter nearby and listen in, but they tend to make little comments and ease their way in if the conversation is interesting enough. They’ve heard that literary works are a good source to explore complex themes, and hope to someday learn a multitude of languages so that they can explore the ideas of all cultures and be able to compare them side by side and gain an even further understanding of how others perceive the world. While good at keeping a poker face, they love to be animated physically when they talk, almost to an exaggerated degree—but it always seems to work, so they are very persuasive when they want to be.
Aside from these interests, they also like to play card games and sew, and would love to see what instruments they could play effectively! They’ve not studied much about fashion, but still like to mess with a needle and thread, and will likely dump any finished product on a friend if they don’t want to keep it (and they have an uncanny ability to send these gifts just when they sense their friend may be in a bit of a pinch or a low spot). Music is another form of communication, but one they struggle to click with—just as they struggle to understand dance. Nevertheless, they are still entranced by both of these modes of communication, especially with how music and dance can convey emotions in a way words can’t. They want to know these secrets of rhythm and rhyme! Not that they’d admit wanting to learn how to dance though—it’s just awkward, and even though they are nimble on their feet, they can’t seem to get “into” the music through movement. So maybe learning music first will help with that, right? It’s something they’d never share, or maybe would, but only with a significant other or a very, very close friend—like, family status friend.
