Hai is Yanyu's heirloom treasure and forever ongoing project to fix him up. She originally received him as a broken heirloom as the weapon was mishandled and broke under the one of the past owners... However Yanyu spent years crafting her skills to fix him up to his current state. Her craftsmanship and artistic preferences has ended up changing Hai's original hair color to the current pink he has now.

Hai as a guardian spirit is silent, observant, watchful, loyal, and reserved. His inability to speak and locked away abilities seem to be part of the curse that is brought upon him. However it is unknown if it is because of his formerly broken vessel that caused this or if the actual curse has done damage to Hai or if it is psychological.
