Kogure

The Oni who rules the Demon's domain on the mortal plane, Akuma no Mori. The demons beneath him all carry out their own ways to seek dominance over the mortals. Though yet they do not tend to expand too far out. Perhaps content with their forest, as within in it, there's a whole society, and many mortals would see it as just a simple myth passed down through the years, but oh no, it's quite real. Why they despise mortals is not quite known, perhaps it goes back a long time, or it's just fun for these demons from many various realms.

Kogure indeed is the overall ruler but there are others in charge. His Captain is Shimizu,  a furious yet elegant demon who makes the wax dolls that decorate their kingdom. There are more that are yet to be known. Kogure doesn't usually do much outside the forest, but there's times he'd mess with the mortals, and have a blast the whole time. If you see him, it's probably best to try to get away or pray that another catches his gaze.
