Throughout Neon Wave's life she has been able to work with what she is given well. Some ponies day that she just got meaner with age, though.
Stoic
Neon feels that she has no control over her own life and has accepted it. She doesn't often talk about her feelings or outwardly express them.
Disorganized
Nothing at home is where she thinks it would be and finding anything in her home is a challenge. Thankfully Hadley cleans up now.

Instead of having an open discussion with another pony Neon would prefer to shut down and not talk about it at all. There's no point, in her opinion.

Music
Music is the only thing that got Neon Wave through her hardest times, other than Hadley, but Neon would attribute it to the music.
Hair
Neon always knew she had a specific style she wanted to achieve that she could only do herself. As a filly Axe wanted the same hair as Neon and her passion grew from there.

Growing up she always put family first, they were the only friends she had. As she grew up she became distant from her family, but the she still feels connected to them.

Childhood
Growing up Neon Wave was always an upbeat, outgoing, and kind person to the extent that some didn't appreciate her overly friendly attitude. She was known throughout school but lacked real connections with other fillies and was seen most of the time alone at school. She was considered the class clown and spent a lot of time in detention. While in detention she met Axel and they started hanging out because they didn't have others to spend time with. Axel also made tasty food that Neon would try to eat. Eventually they'd start hanging out after school and Axel would be just like a family member to them.
Adolescence
Once Little Moon was born Neon Wave spent most of her time playing sports and other games outside. When Neon Wave was in high school Moon suddenly passed and it caused Neon to become negative, quiet, and isolated herself at home for a long time while her mother did the same. This caused Axe to be shut out from the family for a long time; in adulthood Axe and Neon reconnect but they no longer had the same bond they shared as fillies.
Adulthood
When Neon returned to school she didn't bother to talk to others or participate in any extra cirricular activities. Her mother unable to leave the house caused Neon to have to take care of her and her mother at a young age. She helped her mother get better and eventually during the end of high school started talking to Hadley and they shared similar dreams of moving to Manehattan and starting their own tattoo parlor and salon. Currently they live in an apartment working full time in seprate studios but continue to work towards their aspirations.
