Verus is an artificially created being whose control of his power has slipped out of his grasp. He has a god complex due to being so powerful and is always mocking or even fighting his "brother", Psuedo (also his mortal enemy).

Verus and Psuedo's relationship is very broken. From the start of when they were created to the current timeline, Verus has always hated Psuedo. Verus always talks down to him and says he's the "superior one", and proves it whenever he can.
