"Knowledge is key..."
Em, an odd name for a peculiar guy. Born from a vastly different and mystical world farm more exotic than that of our own, Em ventures into the mortal-world in his growing pursuit for knowledge and skills.
Em is a very laid-back, reserved but a very curious person. He tends to flutter about without warning, and he's a bit naive about the human world. He likes to scavenge around for colourful items to add to his collection. While he finds human customs to be exotic, he does find it fascinating and does it in his best interest to integrate these customs in his day to day activities. Although it does create some interesting interactions with those around him. He has a terrible sense of humour, but ironically has a very sweet tooth. Despite his leering and intimidating appearance he is quite a genuine individual. That is, until you try to provoke him in any way... He's a cunning trickster, and a good one at that. Mystic and magic is his domain, and you best not try to provoke him in this field...

Donning the guise of a seemingly human vessel, Em seeks to learn the customs of the world of Aetherland in order to gain a much a larger skill-pool that he could use to his advantage. Quite the observant and curious individual, Em goes about his day learning as much spells and techniques to add to his ever growing library of crafts and the art of arcane magic.
A strange mage...
Despite his strange yet familiar face, he finds himself amongst a certain group of misfits and even managing to gain a small circle of friends. He comes to accustom himself to the feeling of companionship and camaraderie, as he seeks to achieve his ulterior motive amongst the city dwellers of Silverkeep. Knowing that if the knowledge of an other world had reached word amongst the masses, it would lead to an imbalance in the two co-existing worlds. So for now, he'll keep his silence and remain hiding in plain sight...
Notes
- This man is doomed to wear only black, grey, white or any gradient in between due to the nature of his species.
- Quite fond of collecting trinkets and gathering items for his spells/brews.
- Pretty much a modern warlock.
- Speaks in Gobadonong, but would much rather sign to communicate to others.
- Knowledge is his passion! uwu
- Has a sweet tooth! He practically breathes sweets! Loves chocolate a lot too.
Relationships
Skylar [ close friend ]
Has quite a close relationship with this assassin. Relates to her in the sense that they both don't possess the most common way to communicate, and that she has helped contribute to many of his potions and spells. In return he makes for a great sparring for her whenever she's not out hunting down bounties and targets.
Jason [ ward and friend ]
Along with his friendship with Skylar, Em was basically tied automatically to Jason, since Jason is Skylar's ward. Jason wasn't someone Em thought would bound to end up spending most of his time with, but the kid's endearing and sometimes sporadic personality made him quite fond of him. Plus, he also makes a good errand boy to help fetch items for his spells and potions.
