Starbright had known from a young age that her cutie mark was for magic, but could never find a true passion that related to it. She messed around with typical magic schools, she tried performance magic, and she even tried alchemy. At some point she made a potion that allowed her to transition, but hasn’t been able to replicate it since. After realizing how much effort she was putting into it to help other trans ponies, she realizes her calling is to help others using magic. She goes into magical engineering, and now she runs a shop where she makes magical gadgets that help pegasus and earth ponies make up for their lack of magic. She’s also a secret confidant of White Wing, the phantom thief.
