Personality

Koichi is extremely timid, he cannot be left alone ever or he will go into a panic. He is the type of person who is mentally unstable as well as anxiety and depression driven. He suffers from severe depression and anxiety and overall acts super happy. Hes a big fan of fruit as well as videogames, he loves skateboarding as well.

Koichi was born in Tokyo to a normal set of parents. When he was 8 his father left them, leaving him and his mother to care for themselves. After that he went through years of abuse (mental, emotional & physical) until he was 12. By that time he had two more siblings and grew to hate his family. He ended up getting emancipated when he was 15.

Koichi got accepted into Hope's Peak shortly after he was emancipated, excited to see others like him. Shortly after however, he found out that the "school" was infact a killing game that he could not be in. He slowly grew paranoid, not letting others leave his sight or not letting anyone be behind him, as well as becoming afraid and distant from others. He would stick close to a few close friends, mainly Nagito, who made him calm down.

He was not good when it came to trials, becoming anxious to the point of vomiting when things got tense. He never commited murder, but was nearly attacked by one of his peers, thus making him break down and rarely talk due to the trauma. He locked himself in his room and only allowed a select few to see him. Once again, he only allowed Nagito to be near him since they were close.
