Ruziro Deiderich (wip)

Ruziro Deiderich is a Squad leader, previously consisting of three other members, Tobias Koenig, Katja Friedmann, and Simon Metzger, in charge of surveying the lands and updating their maps. Due to her photographic memory, she is able to map things out in her head with ease, remembering the smallest of landmarks to get around.

Personality | She cares deeply for her family and close comrades, often coming off as cold though since she is more of an observer than a speaker. She's the type to say things are a pain and would rather be in the follower position instead of leader, but won't disappoint and gives her all no matter the situation. Very goal oriented and is more of an actions speak louder than words person.

Background | Ruziro grew up in a small village in Wall Rose with her parents and younger twin brother, Ajax. However, their parents were killed by the interior police for digging too far into the history of the walls and the outside. They were rather young at the time but decided that the interior police, or rather humans, were the enemy, more so than the titans. They both focused more on man to man combat and entered the military, Ajax in the MP and Ruziro in the SL to split the information they gather. As a soldier, she would often keep to herself and simply follow orders, not really talking or socializing and instead taking in her surroundings and minding her own business. Ruziro eventually ends up on Erwin's squad where she finally talks to Levi and the others, opening up more to them. There is an instance where she looks at their map as they are about to go on a scouting mission and points out several wrong landmarks from a glance, jotting down instead where they really are. This garners the attention of Keith and Erwin and she is assigned a squad of her own that is dedicated to keeping up to date on the maps and locations of everything within and outside of the walls, essentially the Survey Squad. Three soldiers are assigned to said squad, Tobias, Katja, and Simon, who all dutifully follow her and act as a small family to each other. 

During this time, Ruziro receives news of her brother's death, an apparent suicide, but they won't let her see the body and already held a ceremony without her. In reality though he was being held as a prisoner and questioned/used for their own gains, with Ruziro's life on the line as a threat. Some time prior to the main story, Ruziro and her squad are on an expedition of their own where Tobias, Katja, and Simon fall to the hands of a human, rather than a titan. Her right hand, Tobias, who shared a close bond with Ruziro, makes her go on ahead as he buys her time against the assailant, eventually dying as well while she escapes. She refrains from telling anyone about the incident, claiming it was a titan instead, since she inferred the attack came from within due to their growing pursuit of the truth behind the interior police. As of now, she has a new right hand named Lloyd and refuses to add more people to the squad to "lighten the load" aka so she only has to worry about one person to protect and doesn't want to involve anyone else.
