traits: Grace is the kind of mare puny little Light mares tell their babes to stay away from. She just always seems to have a way of manipulating others into doing something she wants them to do, but she never knows what she wants. She has a quick temper that can be set off by anything, but mostly she just is almost completely silent and always seems to be in another world. No one, not even she, can predict what will happen next. Grace is always one of actions and hardly any words, unless provoked by someone else. The air around her always seems to be still, like there is something that she has that others don't. She can be seen doing weird things, like talking to herself or just staring at nothing in particular. But, she has a special ability that has been passed down from generation to generation in her family. She can 'see' things. Like ghost. This sometimes makes her a bit crazy and makes her even more unpredictable. But she is afraid to give up this talent, yet terrified to embrace it fully. This is the only thing she fears ... herself. Anything else is a walk through the park to her. Nothing seems to phase her, ever. She also loves pain and everything that has to do with pain. Causing it, receiving it, everything. Sometimes, she will hurt herself just to feel pain coarse through her body. This makes her dangerous in battle because she is not afraid of anyone getting hurt. She is merciless in any fight, whether it be with words or hooves. Grace is also curious about that little emotion that some seem to forget once they traverse over to the dark side. Love. She wants to know what love is, wants to feel it in her blood. But, she will never allow her emotions to bubble over for just any old beast. He must prove something to her, prove that he is worthy.

history: Grace was born in Puerto Rico in the heat of the summer. Her mother had been artificially bred because she was a very expensive Paso Fino and no one wanted to take a chance of a stallion hurting her. So, Grace never knew who her father was. This affected her in ways she does not even understand, because it is from her father that her special 'talents' come from, and one must be taught how to use them. But, there was no one to explain to her what was going on. This is probably one of the things that made her who she was. Spirits would always come to speak to her and the others, even her mother, were afraid to get near her when this happened. Even at a young age, she had no friends or companionship. So, when she got a message saying that 'fire would destroy the land', she didn't think to warn the others.

And now, she is the only survivor from her home. The fire spread quickly, and the image is burned into her mind. For the longest time, she blamed herself for this because she didn't do anything when she got the 'message', but soon her heart grew cold to such things and she started to care less about what others felt. She began to grow, in a way, immune to pain. But she couldn't live without it. This was when she started hurting herself and others just for the fun of it.

But then, one day, another spirit came to her. But this one was different than the others, more powerful or something. And Grace soon found out why. It was her father. He had come to find her and train her in the ancient family ways, that way she would be able to teacher her sons and daughters the ways. From that day on, her father has stayed with her in spirit, possessing her at times.

During the winter of her seventh year, she contacted the then Lord of the Underworld of the time, Vanth (Vin) about selling her soul, which he accepted. She was then given a task to do first - trick the Neutral Royals into trusting her so that she could then give the Underworld information. She went to Tremala Woods under the false name, Infinity, and was accepted into the herd, deciding to stay there even after Vanth (Vin) disappeared. Thread.
