Medusa

god so pretty. the second oldest of all of the diamond children. the only one who's properly defected from the mob (though she's in that folder for convenience). is not doing so hot.

medusa runs a rehabilitation center for criminals - extra judicial, of course. basically, she believes that instead of punishing people for doing wrong, helping them a) make amends for the things they've done wrong and b) become better, more stable people via an ease of access to things like homes and food and water. it works pretty well, even if she's doing it completely behind the back of the actual law of the planet she's on because the law sucks. secretly, she hopes that she might be able to get these techniques to work on her family but she doesn't have much hope.

she has. issues though. her mental health tanked ages ago and she simply hasn't bothered getting herself taken care of. she spends all her energy helping everyone else and then refusing her own sound advice. she never learned how to do feelings properly because of her upbringing. also she's often on a drug that puts her in nightglow form all the time because she hates how her original colors tie her back to her family, whom she has complicated feelings towards. basically she needs some serious intervention, stat.

medusa has a. thing. with helena. basically its a weird rivalry/game of cat and mouse where they're simultaneously both the cat and the mouse. also there's an undercurrent of homoerotocism in there that neither of them know how to acknowledge.
