"This knight isn't one of modern day's domesticated breeds; in fact, his human form was born with by a bond forged long ago when there was little to no divide between masters and wild animals. Because of how ancient this soul actually is, there's some novelty in the way he speaks such as not being one to apologize and his direct words with people. However, that doesn't constitute him as a bad person; he's just not used to saying sorry and beating around the bush due to the original language he spoke and grew up with. In fact, he is still a pack animal at heart. The Grey Wolf has close ties with nature, and has little to no tolerance for those that disturb the forest and abuse their resources. It's not surprising that the Grey Wolf just can't be enthusiastic about technology because of this.

Because of the fact that this knight is more feral in nature, it's more difficult to get him to listen to his new owner if they don't prove themselves somehow. It's also noted by other Doggo Knights that the Grey Wolf can command attention with a mere glance due to how striking his eyes are."
