Armand (born Amory, goes by either) is a vampire from a long bloodline. She attends Lioncourt, a university for non-humans, where she is treated like something of a celebrity. She prefers to keep her head down though, and gets a bit embarrassed when her juniors bring her gifts. Her family is one of the last to make the switch to blood substitutes, which she has found a bit hard to get used to. She was raised alongside a human girl, Mary, who was adopted into the family to act as Armand's blood source before the switch. They were always close, though, and remain so despite Armand being away at college and Mary staying with the family.
