Kasakir ē Ariché

APPEARANCE

Kasakir ē Ariché (or "Kasa") is a half-human/half-tabaxi with sandy, blonde hair that resembles a lion's mane. Although she is mostly humanoid in appearance, her tabaxi-like features come across most obviously in her set of feline ears atop her head, a lion's tail, and a mouth full of sharp, pointed teeth. Her left bottom canine tooth is angled in such a way that makes it constantly protrude out of her mouth, resulting in a bit of a snaggletooth. Additionally, she has retractable claws in both her hands and feet, which is her reason for often not using closed-toe shoes. More subtly, although she is not covered in fur like all tabaxi, she has patches of thick blonde fur that resembles human hair throughout her body - most obviously on her stomach and arms.

She has a long scar that angles down from the inner tip of her right eyebrow across her nose. Her eyebrows are bushy and her hair often looks unkempt, giving her a sort of wild appearance.

Kasa is very tall and muscular with a sort of "linebacker's build" and has tanned, peach skin with golden brown eyes. She usually opts for comfortable baggy clothing that is loose and allows for better movement while fighting and often sports cloth wrappings on her arms and legs. Being a barbarian, she does not wear any armor. 

When she "rages", the bits of fur found on her body elongates and begins to cover a wider area, and both her teeth and claws get longer and more monstrous in appearance. The pupils in the center of her eyes slit and the irises have a stark, golden glow. 

PERSONALITY

Although she is pretty physically intimidating upon first glance, Kasa is actually very shy, socially awkward and has obvious self-confidence issues (at least, usually). Despite being a very emotional person naturally, she finds putting herself out there difficult and often tries to take up as little space as she can and not be a burden. Even so, Kasa is extremely kind, supportive and protective of the people she cares about. She is very emotionally intuitive, loving and always prioritizes others' well-being over her own, which can often get her into bad and potentially harmful situations - both emotionally and physically. Her extremely self-sacrificing nature is both her biggest asset and her biggest flaw. She has only been able to start to see her own worth beyond her ability to help others through the reassurances from her friends.

However, Kasa also has been known to have a temper that mostly only triggers when she feels like someone or something she cares about is threatened. Her anger at the prospect of these things being endangered is what she taps into in battle. Kasa's full confidence and strength comes out most obviously when she is in battle, because she knows she's good at it, and it's something she genuinely enjoys doing.

Between getting cut up by an axe and having to put herself out there, Kasa will always choose the axe.
