Powers/Abilities: Fear Induction - Silvain can induce a fear response in people through skin-to-skin contact. This response starts as anxiety and increases through prolonged contact, sometimes resulting in the victim being literally scared to death. Silvain's powers are hard-locked to their body and will transfer only onto a person who kills them, as well as an 'imprint' of Silvain's personality (as well as any previous owners of the powers).

Personality: The impression that most people get from Silvain is that of a cold, professional person who takes their job incredibly seriously. It’s not far off from the truth - Silvain prefers to remain as businesslike as possible in their interactions with most, especially in interactions that actually have to do with their job. They’re often cold and calculating in the way that they treat others, spinning each conversation so that it’s in some way advantageous for them. But one-on-one, or even in groups of people they trust, Silvain is able to open up a bit more. They have a dry sense of humor that sometimes skews to the morbid, and a dogged sense of justice that often leads them into danger in their pursuit of criminals. Making friends with Silvain is hard, but once you’ve done it, you have a friend you can entrust with even the most secure of secrets, even if you never get around to hearing theirs.
Outside of their work for the FBI, Silvain likes to use their powers to “test the worth” of criminals and supervillains. They force these villains to face their greatest fears - if they don’t break or go mad, Silvain deems them worthy of living. But if they do break, Silvain either scares them to death or kills them with a quick bullet to the brain. Silvain sees their work more as an extermination service than crime-fighting, and will most certainly balk at being associated with vigilantes or superheroes.
Additional Info:
- Was not born with heterochromia.
- Lost their best friend and work partner to serial killer Dakota “The Dentist” Van Andel back in 2013. Silvain killed Dakota immediately upon hunting him down, and was saddled with his powers, as well as being forced to now share a body with him.
- Extremely afraid of narrow spaces.
- Pretends to be a germophobe in order to not accidentally use their powers on anyone.
- Their hands consistently look bruised due due to their powers, the bruises get darker/actually painful with overuse.
- Silvain’s powers can be turned down/off, but if anyone tries to steal them Silvain will feel intense vertigo/nausea and the thief will get caught in a feedback wave of anxiety
