Vienno is a very, incredibly timid and anxious man. He'd sooner receed back into his labs or current home in order to be alone and work on his research than talk to a large group of people, though he can sometimes work past this if the situation is dire enough. His knowledge, however, is nearly unsurpassed. His life's work has revolved around 'primal energy', and he is one of the only Pokemon alive who has any idea about the mega Pokemon pandemic across the world.

Summary
Vienno was born in space, created by Palkia out of a strange rift in the fabric of the universe. This leads to him having an unstable make-up and sensitivity to specific energies and auras throughout the world. He very quickly renounced the Legendary Pokemon, wishing to have little to nothing to do with them except for the other Deoxys, and found himself a home on earth while he was still young. He was raised by a group of very sweet grass Pokemon and from there he found a love for science and learning.
Shortly before the sealing, Vienno had founded a large boarding school for the sciences. Though technically the headmaster, he appointed his best friend Willem as acting headmaster and spent much of his time on the third floor of the school in his own private lab. Due to being shy, nobody ever knew who exactly he was, but he and students who wandered up stairs would talk through his locked door. He often provided wisdom to the students, items for their health, and every so often answers to a test.
At one point, Willem (who had a habit of taking in orphans) brought in two young boys named Laurence and Micolash, who were both very interested in learning about the strange man upstairs. They broke in and their energy and interest in learning about the experiments Vienno was running led him to taking them in as his apprentices.

A young creature Vienno met when he was unsealed. He's grown fond of them and now they stick together!
Micolash
Micolash was one of three Pokemon that Vienno had been close to before the Legendary Pokemon were sealed. Vienno mentored him in science and taught him about the primal energy since he was a boy. At one point, Micolash left with his friend Laurence, stifled by the rules Vienno had placed down, and Vienno never saw him again.
Willem
The two of them had been close to each other for lifetimes. There is not a more important Pokemon in the world to Vienno. They had brought out the best in each other, two Pokemon with a promise broken by the inevitable end of a cycle. Vienno misses him dearly.
