Scorch

Lived in the Kingdom of Sand in ancient Pyrrhia, before Darkstalker's time. A reserved, serious, and sometimes prickly character, Scorch's early life was shaped by the trauma of war and the loss of her family. She protects her friends like little siblings, and is always terrified of losing them, which she deals with by being a bit overly present and bossy.

In her adult life, Scorch is a distinguished SandWing general. However, her secret childhood friendship with Princess Truthseer of the NightWings comes back to haunt her when war with their southernmost neighbors almost becomes a reality- and becomes even more haunting when Truthseer challenges her mother for the throne and wins, stopping the war and leading the two tribes to peace. It's no accident that once an alliance is formed, Scorch is often invited to the palace as an ambassador... and as the visits get longer and longer, love grows between the former friends, and Scorch finds a secret happiness in the wings of the beautiful NightWing queen.
