Saix is a gundam residing in Ark in service to Kibaomaru. Her past is misty and more than a little controversial. Supposedly her mother is a banished witch from Lacroa named Hecate and her father, a masterless ronin from a conquered land. Effectively making her a hybrid of sorts. She came into Kiabomaru's service younger than usual after her father swore allegiance to him, only to fall in battle/vanish soon after. It's currently unknown if either of her parents still live, but Saix has little care for it apparently, concerned only with serving her current master.
Role wise, she is a scout who travels quickly over long distances gathering information for Kiabomaru's use, usually reporting to him monthly. Her extreme endurance and speed earned her her place, but her combat abilities seem to be lacking. Supposedly this is due to the heavy magic dependence of knight gundams, as opposed to the martial skill of musha gundams. While she easily passes as a musha, in truth she is meant to be able to use magic but this has not been tried or tested. Instead she relies on speed and natural lightning abilities.
Her animal like features are from her mother, who was said to have resembled a black cat herself and had mirroring abilities to match. Her father, the ronin, was known as the "Wild Storm" although exact details about him are also unclear.
The Kibao Hoard notices these differences, however, and generally treat her accordingly. However, as a fellow servant of their master, they willingly work with her even if the opportunities to do so are rare. Moukinmaru, with his raven like features, was slightly more interested in her. Even showing some motivation to train her but their roles put them apart far too often.
For the most part, Saix is comfortable with a non-combatant role and has become an expert in her field. In fact, Kibaomaru's ability to take Tenchijo castle was due to her being able to locate and track it in the first place.
