A former, proud servant of White Diamond. Fell into forbidden love with an important Moonstone who she was assigned to guard. The two were separated; Moonstone imprisoned in a statue left on Earth, and Howlite sentenced to shattering. On the journey to Homeworld, Howlite escaped her executioners, and struggles to make it back to Earth, to her beloved.
Crash landing in the north-americas, her gem is cracked and she becomes trapped in a shapeshifted form of a wolf. This won't stop her search for her Lady though. She eventually finds Beach City, and becomes quite a nuisance, constantly breaking into Steven's house trying to steal Moon's statue
