- His working name was Ratman and to be honest it still is in my heart.
- Rat was around as a shape before he became a character. I made a pointy cat and was just like "how far can I push this before people call me out for not making cats anymore?"
- He has a ridiculous amount of art of him despite the fact that he's only being entered now. As it turns out, people like ratman just as much as I do!

- He was born to a soft paw who did not have the money for moonlighters and gave birth in a rather unsafe place. Hence why there were rats running around at his birth.
- Technically, he's not really a healer anymore. The healer's guild did the equivalent of stripping him of his medical license. But, that's why he decided to move to Redblood. Who's gonna know?
- He's originally from Dullpines.
- He was kicked from the guild because he regularly mixes poisons and sells them to bandits to use on people.

Deep down, Rat loves his mother but he thinks she's very irresponsible. She (and by extension Rat) comes from a long time soft paw family and tends to take life almost as a joke. Rat had to make it up in the world entirely on his own and he resents her for that.
